Terrazzo

Design by Zunica

Terrazzo is showing up all over the place today. From countertops to lamps, this application is as old as the Romans but hasn’t been popular in over 40 years until just recently. Terrazzo looks great in both modern and transitional houses, giving off a very vintage throwback look. It’s a composite material made of a mix of materials such as quartz, granite, mirror, glass, shell, and marble. Terrazzo is held together with cement, which makes it ultra durable. It comes in an array of different colors and its crackly surface will add interest to any space. For coffee tables, dinner plates, rugs, you name it, terrazzo is a pattern and material that is both versatile and beautiful. Have fun decorating!
