Stained Glass

Design by Kim Pearson

One of my favorite houses I have toured is the Frank Lloyd Wright Martin House in Buffalo, NY. I was enamored by the beautiful stained glass windows. The way the light shined in and reflected the different colors transforming the room into a jewelry box. How about the timeless Tiffany lamps? They will forever be an important part of American art. Every decade has had it’s take on the stained glass look and it’s no surprise to me that this is a trend we are seeing more of lately. What I love about stained glass is the way it can work with any environment, whether you are preserving a gorgeous stained glass window from the 1800’s or slapping a funky modern stained glass decal on an existing window pane, it can compliment a house in a variety of different ways.

Stained glass is not only made for windows. There is tile, vases, lighting, and more decorative items that mimic this classic look and will brighten up your home with vivid colors.
