The owners had an appreciation for multiple styles. Mixing a little bit of colonial, mid-century modern, and contemporary elements to create a peaceful retreat and a comfortable place to entertain. They had so many precious existing treasures, it was important to carefully implement pieces that complimented them accordingly. This house was a great example of how designing imperfectly is so important. The oversized artwork, the relaxed curtains, the mix of periods, these are elements that make a home custom to the client; a true reflection of who lives there.
