We are in the thick of winter. Although it’s around this time I start to complain about missing the warm sunny days (early, I know), it’s a great excuse to stay indoors and snuggle up by the fire. I have the cutest white painted brick fireplace in my living room that was in need of a fireplace screen. Finding the perfect one (screen 10!) took some time. I was looking for one that would be aesthetically pleasing while also serving as a great shield from the embers and my toddler who seems to be all over the place these days. In my research, I found some fun, quirky, and beautiful screens.
When choosing a screen, it’s important to determine how functional you’d like it to be. Some screens are purely decorative and offer no protection, while others give full protection from the fire.
